Role: RN ER / Registered Nurse Emergency Room Location: Lakeway , TX Type: Permanent Full Time Shift: 3 X 12hrs. Shift Type: Nights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Responsibilities:
Quickly assess patients' conditions upon arrival, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms. Prioritize care based on the severity of their condition.
Determine the urgency of patients' needs and allocate resources accordingly. This involves categorizing patients based on the severity of their condition and ensuring that those in critical condition receive immediate attention.
Administer emergency medical care, including medication, IV fluids, wound care, and other interventions as needed. Follow established protocols and guidelines for various medical emergencies.
Provide patients and their families with information about their condition, treatment options, and follow-up care. Ensure that they understand discharge instructions and any medications prescribed.
Stay current on emergency procedures and protocols. Participate in drills and training exercises to ensure readiness for various emergency situations.
Education: Bachelor's degree from recommended University.
License / Certification:
State license.
