In this role you will join our FSP team and work in a Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Analytics group within our client, a top pharmaceutical company.

For this role, we are seeking a RWE Statistician. Strength in programming and analytical abilities is more important than a set number of years of experience. The level of the position will be determined based on the candidate’s experience.

You Will Contribute By

  • The position provides support to the Epidemiology and Value Evidence Strategy teams by preparing Real World data, advising on data analytic strategies, and supporting stakeholders in various epidemiology analytic activities.
  • Work in a fast-moving high performing team focused on client internal deliverables.
  • Very quantitively driven and experienced (likely excellent analytic skills and programming skills for digging into the data).
  • The team covers RWE, post-approval space, HEOR, Medical Affairs, HCRU.
  • You have extensive recent experience in evidence generation using a RWE data (claims, EHR, or other types).
  • Extensive experience in burden of disease / HCRU / cost of illness, and/or pharmaco-epidemiological studies.
  • Must have observational and post-marketing study experience.
  • Protocol development for observational studies, sample size, feasibility analysis.
  • Strong applied statistics background including regression analysis (OLS, longitudinal, logistic, Cox, GLM/GEE), survival analyses (Kaplan-Meier, cumulative incidence, accelerated failure time models), and propensity weighting.
  • Infectious disease/vaccines good, but not a must have.

What We’re Looking For

  • You have PhD (required) in related field (epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, economics) and relevant years of experience conducting RWE analytics for pharma industry, CRO.
  • You have knowledge of applied statistics including regression analysis (OLS, longitudinal, logistic, Cox, GLM/GEE), survival analyses (Kaplan-Meier, cumulative incidence, accelerated failure time models), and propensity weighting.
  • You have excellent programming skills with SQL, SAS, R.
  • You can work independently and in a team.
  • You are confident, self-reliant, and a quick learner.
  • Good oral and written English communication skills are mandatory.
