Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager with 5-10 years of safety management experience, preferably in civil, industrial, or power industries. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for water cell pumping operations. The ideal candidate will possess current safety certifications (2020–2024) and a valid driver's license, with a proven track record in risk management, compliance, and accident prevention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures for water cell pumping operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential safety hazards, conduct risk assessments, and recommend preventive measures to reduce the risk of accidents or incidents.
  • Safety Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of worksites, equipment, and procedures. Ensure that safety measures are adhered to and corrective actions are taken where necessary.
  • Training & Development: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure that all personnel are properly trained in the safe operation of water cell pumping systems.
  • Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, or near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA and environmental standards related to water cell pumping systems.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, inspections, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit safety reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure safety is integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring preparedness in case of accidents or hazardous conditions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in safety management, preferably in water cell pumping, civil, industrial, or power industries.
  • Certifications: Valid safety training certificates from 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 (OSHA, First Aid/CPR, HAZWOPER, etc.).
  • License: Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites, industrial plants, and water facilities. Must be able to perform physical inspections and respond to emergencies on-site.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with water pumping systems or power-related projects.
  • Previous experience managing safety in large-scale civil or industrial projects.
