Job Summary

Better Being is looking for a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Process Leader and Operations Analyst to lead the S&OP Process by developing the five sub-processes and working with their owners to ensure adherence to a monthly cadence with robust content: New Product Introduction, Demand Planning, Supply Planning Pre-S&OP / Financial Reconciliation, and Executive S&OP.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures sub-process owners provide a time-based meeting agenda with objectives and discussion documents and lead their meetings in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Guides the overall S&OP process and is actively involved in facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure relevant content is included with enough information to make decisions with enough lead time to resolve future constraints.
  • Oversees the Demand Planning team in developing the unconstrained demand forecast.
  • Works with Supply Planning to perform rough cut capacity planning.
  • Develops and regularly refreshes the S&OP Process Improvement Roadmap that prioritizes, sequences, and coordinates process improvement initiatives.
  • Provides leadership for the execution of projects in the S&OP Process Improvement Roadmap.
  • Develops and ensures the accuracy of appropriate metrics to measure business performance influenced by the S&OP process (Revenue, Fill Rates, Forecast Error and Bias, Inventory $s and turns).
  • Balances meeting Revenue and Fill Rate objectives while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Evaluates software and other technology to improve demand planning.
  • Works with outside stakeholders, including customers, to improve demand planning and business objectives.
  • Performs other analysis and reporting to support Operations performance and to facilitate decisions.

Job Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with demand planning and supply chains, preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear.
  • Employee must exert up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
