The Director of Commercial Sales will be responsible for the maintenance of commercial sales accounts, the growth of those accounts, and complete oversight of the customer relationship from start to finish. This individual will lead all customer-facing activities, focusing on strategic planning, product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships.
Develop and monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, executing effective sales strategies necessary for sustainable growth.
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
Negotiate/close agreements with prospective customers and work to grow business with existing customers.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts, as needed.
Assist with the quoting process and any special accounts, review gross margins for all resale products and suggest changes as needed.
Manage all marketing, social media, and other lead-generating activities.
Collaborate with the finance, product management, and marketing teams on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models for achieving revenue goals.
Minimum Requirements:
7-10+ years in diverse leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth.
Proven track record of growing revenue through new-product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships
Significant experience in general management and P&L supervision.
Ability to craft and execute a business strategy effectively. Experience in making decisions based on business metrics.
Desire to grow into senior leadership role or CEO role as part of company succession planning
