Job Responsibilities
As the Sales Head (Zone-1), you will report to Country Head and be responsible for the following:
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets in Zone 1.
- Monitor market trends and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan and execute the Sales Schemes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers in Zone 1.
- Set clear objectives, provide regular performance feedback, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C1 and C2.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Country Head.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, and propose corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the agrochemical industry, including key C1 and C2.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and customer behaviors that may impact payment patterns.
- Be prepared to travel extensively across Zone 1 to support sales activities, meet with customers, and oversee the performance of the sales team.
- 10+ year experience in sales of agriculture products or related fields. Proven track record in a similar managerial role is essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of the agrochemical market.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, or a related field.
