Sales Manager – Regional Retail, US & Mexico

Introduction

iRobot seeks an experienced Sales Manager to join our growing Americas Sales team. We are looking for an energetic individual with a proven track record of delivering results in a highly competitive landscape. This role will focus on managing accounts like Costco Mexico and Amazon Mexico, requiring a deep understanding of the Mexico market and experience calling on clubs and Amazon. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. The Sales Manager will work closely with the channel marketing team to initiate, execute, and optimize merchandising and marketing strategies.

This is an opportunity for an energetic individual to join our growing Americas Sales team. We are seeking an experienced sales manager for our consumer robot products. In this role, you will manage regional retailers for new and existing accounts while building strategic relationships and driving sales and profitability. As the role progresses, it has the potential to evolve into managing online accounts in the US.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee revenue, profit, sell-through, and inventory for the sales territory, focusing on key accounts like Costco Mexico and Amazon Mexico
  • Achieve quantitative and qualitative targets within budget constraints, leveraging insights from the Mexico market
  • Identify growth opportunities by innovatively reaching target consumers in Mexico
  • Tailor new product launches, initiatives, and promotions to meet the specific needs of Costco Mexico and Amazon Mexico
  • Deliver regular business reviews and product launches to accounts, ensuring alignment with their strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Operations and Channel Marketing teams to forecast and manage product requirements for Costco Mexico and Amazon Mexico
  • Efficiently collaborate with internal teams, adapting strategies to Mexico's market nuances
  • Partner with Channel Marketing to ensure consistent strategies across assortment, merchandising, and promotions, reflecting trends in Costco Mexico and Amazon Mexico
  • Develop market opportunity and analysis plans with reseller partners, including strategies for Costco Mexico and Amazon Mexico
  • Continuously analyze the competitive environment and provide timely insights relevant to Costco Mexico, Amazon Mexico, and other key accounts in Mexico's retail landscape

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • 6-8 years of experience in a sales role, preferably a consumer product-focused high-tech company.
  • Must have 6-8 years of retail account experience.
  • Must have 8 years of consumer product experience, preferably with consumer products in floor care/small appliances and/or consumer electronics categories.
  • Strong proven track record of budget/quota delivery
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills, both at the account and product sales levels
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Diverse experience supporting sales, operations, trade marketing, category management, and financial analysis required
  • Accountable – takes ownership of business, customers, and relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Frequent travel required.
