Sales Operations Analyst - Accelerator Teams

What You'll Do

Revenue Operations Process Manager, within the Revenue Operations Department, closely aligns with our Accelerator Product teams within the Sales organization to have a true understanding of each team's individual needs and provide recommendations for how the business can operate to hit goals. The Accelerator Products are strategic investment areas we are making to expand and diversify our product offering in the market. You will support these teams with insights, analysis, process optimizations, and solution implementations to help then land and grow.

  • Business Process Optimization
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in the tools, processed used by these teams and be able to support new solution deployments or feature releases.
  • Advocate on behalf of these teams for new tools / features through understanding of business processes.
  • Support rollout / adoption of Avalara tech stack and guide related process optimizations.
  • Ad-hoc Reporting Requests:
  • Work with Accelerator Product teams on main reporting & data analysis needed to run the multi-facet partner unit.
  • Distill reporting requests from less-technical partners to: problem statement, resolution process, and deliverables.
  • Strategic Requests:
  • Take requests from internal Accelerator Product teams and their external contributing teams to improve team strategy and performance. You will be the contact to move forward with managing partners through initial intake, gathering requirements and implementation.
  • Be the voice for the team they are aligned with on any meetings and workshops where changes are discussed to the strategy, and analyze pros and cons of such changes.
  • Bring in other Rev Ops partners at the appropriate time for reporting, enablement and technology needs for any strategy needs.
  • Forecast and Production Analysis:
  • Work with leadership to analyze forecasting for teams, identify roadblocks and issues that are interfering with metric success
  • Grow to be the subject matter expert in how our opportunity production channels work (referral, technology/integration, and accounting) and be able to report and explain nuances.
  • Territory, Quota and Target Setting:
  • Quota management (add, modify) and rollup for partner sales leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Run deep analysis on territory performance, suggest proposals for change, and distill important trends.
  • Participate in the annual quota planning process between main departments (such as FP&A, Finance, and Sales). Open to Remote


What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations or related experience.
  • Analytical skills; Advanced Excel (can perform complex functions) and reporting skills required.
  • Knowledge of SFDC, Gong, 6sense, Outreach or similar solutions
  • Work with senior leadership.
  • We're opening this role to candidates located in commuting distance from our Durham, NC office.
