About the role:
The Sales Operations Manager to oversee our sales operations and drive efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness within the sales organization. The position will play a critical role in optimizing sales processes, implementing sales tools and technologies, and providing analytical insights to support strategic decision-making. The Sales Operations Manager III will play a pivotal role in optimizing our sales processes and supporting our sales team to achieve their targets. You will be responsible for implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, generating insightful sales reports, maintaining data integrity and managing the CRM system.
What you will do:
Develop and implement sales strategies, processes, and procedures to optimize sales performance and drive revenue growth
Collaborate with sales leadership to define sales objectives, quotas, and territories, and ensure alignment with overall business goals
Manage sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting processes to provide accurate and timely insights into sales performance and trends
Implement and administer sales tools and technologies, including CRM systems, sales automation software, and reporting dashboards, to streamline sales processes and improve productivity
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement, assess sales performance against targets, and provide recommendations for optimization
Develop and maintain sales metrics to measure sales performance and track progress towards goals
Partner with finance, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales operations with overall business objectives
Lead sales territory planning and management efforts to optimize sales coverage and maximize revenue opportunities
Provide training and support to the sales team on sales processes, tools, and systems
Administer and maintain the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data
Generate sales reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance and trends
Manage sales processes and workflows to streamline operations and improve efficiency
Support sales teams with territory management, lead assignment, and account segmentation
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on sales forecasting and revenue recognition
Assist with sales compensation planning and administration
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize sales operations
Provide training and support to sales reps on CRM usage and best practices
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
5+ years of related experience, master’s degree and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience
Previous experience in sales operations, sales support, or related roles is often required
Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics
Experience with sales analytics and reporting tools
Knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, data analysis, and process improvement
