Sales Representative - On Premise Specialist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Sales Representative to join our team in this exciting industry. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in increasing our market share and promoting our brands to new and existing customers. With your knowledge of the industry and excellent communication skills, you will help us maintain and grow our customer base, ensuring their satisfaction with our products.

Daily/Position Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Create top account list of key on premise accounts within 495 area
  • Review pricing opportunities for WBTG and features on wines and sparkling items
  • Coordinate program calendars from suppliers and prioritize key brands / items
  • Provide in depth sales analysis on trends and key brands / key items
  • Work with Graphic arts to develop trade ideas and creative POS to enhance sales at all levels
  • Provide internal sales training on new and current brands & key competitive brands
  • Work directly with all wine suppliers in the trade selling and promoting products within all on premise segments
  • Work with all company sales reps 4-5 days per month in the field


Education/Experience:

Bachelor degree in Business or Management or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong knowledge of wines, WSET II or similar certifications preferred

Previous Work Experience In The Beverage Industry Highly Preferred

Skills/Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize within a multi-tasking environment. Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines; must possess strong analytical, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills are also required. Must demonstrate intermediate to advanced level of proficiency within Microsoft Office applications. This role requires lifting and carrying of a 40+ pound case of product on a regular basis and requires extensive travel throughout assigned territory with personal vehicle.
