Objective: This position will serve as the Sales Support role for Clark Beverage Group, Inc. This position directly supports the sales and merchandising teams within the specified area. Additionally, you will be tasked to various administrative requirements and other duties as deemed necessary to deliver the company’s goals.

Job Description: As Sales Support, this position will report directly to the Merchandising Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the requirements of the Sales team in both large and small format stores as well as merchandising coverage. Your role is that of support, and extremely important that you understand the different areas of business and the expectations of those different sales and merchandising roles you are covering. That will include being flexible and working as a team to deliver the company goals. Additionally, you are responsible for timely communications to your manager and or the appropriate ASM to insure we are executing what is needed in the trade in the different roles you support. This role may require work on the weekends and holidays based upon scheduling needs.

As Clark Beverage Group Inc, represents multiple geographic locations within its territory, some travel may be required for meetings and or training.

Key Skills: Familiarity with a sales organization, team player attitude, flexibility, the ability to influence, coaching, attention to detail, relationship building skills (wiring) to include networking with other people within the organization and associated customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills, Multi-tasking and time management, Collaboration for value, Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and general computer skills.

Job Duties & Expectations:

  • Treat everyone fairly and respectfully while holding your team accountable for their actions and results.
  • Follow all processes and procedures of the company.
  • Understand the differing elements of each role you are supporting within the sales and merchandising teams.
  • Flexibility to perform different roles on any given day.
  • Support all coverage of sales and merchandising requirements.
  • Execute problem solving skills in a manner that most beneficial to the company.
  • Positive and influential presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate up the chain in a timely manner with appropriate details.
  • Develop yourself for other roles within CBG to support the company strategy.
  • Any other duties deemed by Management necessary to deliver the company’s goals.
  • This role may or may not (dependent upon geography) be inclusive of selling and merchandising both non-alcohol Coca-Cola associated brands (NA) and Molson Coors alcohol related brands (Alc).
