Sales Support Specialist


Position Summary:


An industry leading organization in the data space is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join their growing team! In this role, you will be working internal Sales and other departmental contracts to get customers on-boarded with the applicable solutions, as well as general queue management to resolve a multitude of issues and questions from customers and the Sales teams, including lead routing, collaboration with Billing, Credentialing, Legal and other internal teams. This role is ideal for who is a fast learner, detail-oriented, and comfortable being a POC for customers and internal teams and processing a steady stream of tickets or requests in a fast- paced environment.


Experience and Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing accounts
  • Experience working with multiple levels of leadership
  • Experience working with internal and external customers
  • Previous experience in an enterprise support or portfolio management
  • Proven track record in small project or initiative management
  • Experience working with Sales and legal department, a plus

Primary Job Responsibilities:


  • Generate leads and build relationships planning daily work schedule to call on existing/potential sales outlets.
  • Work collaboratively with sales manager to drive sales campaigns which will uncover leads.
  • Manage a portfolio of new clients during the onboarding process.
  • Act as liaison for Sales and customer among multiple teams (Billing, Credentialing, Infosec, API, Legal, etc.) in support of helping Sales onboard new accounts.
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing client needs, following a defined selling process with potential buyers, utilizing product demos and presentations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Contract draft review to ensure operational compliance.
  • Generate & distribute daily and monthly reports for various sales and usage metrics.
  • Engage professionally with multiple levels of leadership.
  • Learn new systems and technology to enable process improvements (Salesforce, internal CRM).
  • Other general support items as needed to support the Sales process.
