Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Administrator for a remote position lasting 6 months. This role involves performing S/4 installations, upgrades, patches, and providing daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems. The successful candidate will work closely with vendors, partners, and product teams to meet operational KPIs/SLAs and participate in multi-landscape design solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform S/4 installation, upgrades, patches, applying support packages, system copies/refreshes, and installation of add-on software components.

Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and tune all SAP systems daily.

Work with vendors/partners to tune S/4 systems for optimal performance.

Collaborate with other product teams to meet and maintain operational KPIs/SLAs.

Participate in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, and client strategies for continuous improvement.

Develop, implement, and execute SAP BASIS/HANA DB policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of SAP systems in support of the SAP applications.

Provide support and guidance to other project and development teams during the build, test, and productive operation of project implementation.

Set up and configure Solution Manager Dashboards to monitor and administer SAP systems.

Provide production support on a periodic 24x7 basis with on-call responsibilities.

Primary Skills

Hands-on experience in installing and configuring S/4 Core, S/4 EWM, SAP Enterprise Portals, SAP GRC, and Solution Manager.

Ability to create Transport Domain Controller and administer the Transport Management System.

Experience using Solution Manager ChaRM.

Knowledge/experience with system monitoring using Solution Manager.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Effective team player working with onsite and offshore teams.

10 to 12 years of experience with SAP Basis Administration.

Minimum of 2 full SAP life cycle SAP S/4 implementation experiences.

Good support exposure on S4 HANA.

Extensive SAP upgrades/implementation experience in both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks.

Expertise in a broad range of SAP products like S/4 HANA, BW, PI, Fiori, Ariba, and the latest products.

Expertise in installation, upgrades, and patching of SAP applications.

Experience in the installation and integration of third-party tools to S/4 systems is an added advantage.

Solman integration, SLD/LMDB/agent deployment/managed system preparation.

Secondary Skills

Exposure to the EWM module.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in SAP Basis Administration.

Strong background in SAP system installations, upgrades, and patching.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
