SAP Basis Administrator at iSphere JW3GJ

As a SAP Basis Administrator, you will play a crucial role in installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrading, and documenting the SAP technical environment and databases. Your responsibilities will encompass managing all existing SAP products and solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and adherence to disaster recovery plans.

To qualify for this role, you must have at least 8 years of SAP Basis Administration experience. In addition, you will need to possess the following skills and knowledge:

- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining multiple SAP products such as ERP, SuccessFactors, SRM, OpenText, BW, PI/PO, EP, GRC, MDM, Gateway, BOBJ/Lumira, TaxFactory, Solution Manager, and TDMS.
- Installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and supporting all SAP MSSQL databases.
- Managing SAP ABAP and Java stack installations, configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Applying support packs, enhancement packs, and add-ins as required.
- Maintaining SAP GUI and web access, load-balanced entry points, SAML/SAP logon ticket/IDM single sign-on, and server/SSL certificates.
- Supporting OpenText components such as ICC, Archive Server, and VIM.
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure high uptime for all SAP products.
- Supporting PI/PO interfaces, automating monitoring, implementing housekeeping activities, and securing interfaces.
- Authoring and modifying PowerShell scripts as needed.
- Providing operational support for TDMS applications, scrambling, and copying production data to non-productive environments.
- Performing system refreshes using database copy and snapshot methods for all SAP products.
- Configuring and maintaining SAP Solution Manager for technical monitoring systems and processes.
- Assisting the BW/BOBJ/Lumira team with application and data load-related issues.
- Supporting SAP system operations and technical infrastructure, including transport administration, printer administration, user accounts, and authorizations.
- Maintaining strong working relationships with SAP application owners, IT infrastructure, and OS/network teams.
- Testing and executing disaster recovery plans.
- Scheduling backups, ensuring backup system health, and restoring backups as needed.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system availability and performance issues on a daily basis.
- Proactively monitoring system health and taking corrective action before problems occur.
- Performing system tuning for optimal performance of all SAP products.
- Developing, documenting, and adhering to standard procedures and best practices.
