SAP Basis and Security Leader

Your Job

We are seeking an SAP Basis and Security Leader to support Georgia-Pacific’s Consumer Products and Building Products Groups. As the SAP Basis and Security Leader, you will be responsible for the continued support and delivery of basis and security services across SAP applications and tools for both businesses. You will lead a team of technical professionals and be a trusted partner working collaboratively with IT and business leaders.

Location: This is a hybrid position based out of our Georgia-Pacific Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

What You Will Do

• Planning, organizing, and executing the delivery of sustaining activities across the SAP ecosystem
• Provide oversight on infrastructure and delivery decisions, plan future improvement opportunities and effective support to enable business value through technology innovation and improvements
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technology solutions and delivery/support plans
• Lead a team of SAP basis and SAP security administrators/configurators in a global support model
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support while fostering a collaborative work environment. Guide team around delivery in a highly integrated environment with multiple stakeholders
• Leverage expertise in infrastructure and SAP technologies to deliver and support SAP capabilities and solutions
• Manage stakeholders with effective communication
• Drive the scoping, planning, and execution of technical maintenance activities
• Manage and oversee relationships with internal service providers and external vendors to ensure successful operations of applications
• Influence and provide input into key capabilities such as disaster recovery and business continuity
• Demand and resource management for delivery of support and initiatives
  
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 5+ years managing and leading support teams in a matrixed organization
• Proven experience in ERP infrastructure and security administration, delivery, and support
• Proficiency in basis and security for SAP applications and technologies (S/4HANA, MDG, GRC, Enterprise HANA, BTP, IBP, SAC, etc.)
• Foundational knowledge and understanding of SAP applications (S/4HANA, MDG, Enterprise HANA IBP)
• Experience making informed decisions by evaluating alternatives and trade-offs that create the highest long-term value.
• Experience presenting reports, proposals, plans, etc. to leadership in written and verbal communication.
  
  

What Will Put You Ahead

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in SAP basis planning, administration, and delivery in a large-scale SAP ecosystem
• Experience managing outsourced delivery teams
• Knowledge of software and how it interacts with operating systems and databases
• Experience and knowledge of AWS
• Experience architecting and optimizing cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of database platforms such as SAP HANA
• Understanding of infrastructure networking
