Job Summary
As a Scheduler, you will play a vital role in our operations by ensuring efficient scheduling and superior customer service. You will manage interpreter schedules, coordinate job requests, and support various center operations both remotely and onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in acquiring and retaining customers for onsite and video remote interpreting services.
Coordinate interpreter schedules to ensure optimal coverage for video relay, video remote interpreting, and community interpreting assignments.
Maintain a database of qualified interpreters and ensure their availability for assignments.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Support workforce management by performing data entry and organizational tasks as needed.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and address scheduling issues promptly.
Occasionally provide interpreting services to support center operations.
Skills And Qualifications
Minimum of two years' experience in workforce scheduling.
Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Basic data entry skills and familiarity with interpreting standards.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
Preferred experience as a sign language interpreter.
This role involves sitting, standing, walking, and keyboarding for extended periods. Occasional travel may be required.
