Scientist - Whole Genome Sequencing

Position Overview
A scientist in this position is responsible for performing whole genome sequencing and related molecular testing methods. In addition to performing laboratory testing, duties may include, but are not limited to maintaining organized and clean work areas, assessing sample acceptability, performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, performing daily quality control, reviewing results, and analyzing data.
Minimum Qualifications
A PH Lab Scientist 2 performing clinical duties the majority of their time must:

Minimum Qualifications
A PH Lab Scientist 2 performing clinical duties the majority of their time must:
- Have successfully completed a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical
OR
- Have graduated from an accredited college or university with a Masters or Bachelor's
Medical Laboratory Science, or other acceptable science.
OR
- Meet CLIA Testing Personnel Qualification Category set forth in federal
Required Experience
- Have one year of full-time professional work experience in the Clinical
Preferred Experience
- At least one year of molecular-based testing in a clinical laboratory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
