Title: R&D Scientist
Location: Raritan, NJ
Job Qualifications
Experience in medical device, biotech or other FDA-regulated industry, with preferred 2 year of lab experience
Have working knowledge, previous research or hands-on experience with biologics, polymerics, biomaterials or related fields
Perform product development activities (e.g., prototype builds) supporting design of concepts to meet customer requirements
Support development of in-vitro models for prototype screening and/or elucidation of mechanistic aspects of product performance
Conduct experiments for biomedical/biochemical studies, and have an understanding or ability to learn analytical laboratory procedures including, protein chemistry, polymer characterization, physical analyses, microscopy, spectroscopy, moisture analysis OR cell/tissue culture.
Collect and record experimental data, maintain laboratory equipment, reagents and supplies
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
