Our client is hiring a remote SAFe Scrum Master to join their Automation Engineering Team. You will be supporting cross-functional teams in this group with a major focus area in Process Optimization, Infra Governance, Change Management, and Standardizations with their Change Catalogue. The SAFe Scrum Master will help teams achieve a higher-level of Agile maturity through coaching and trainings while ensuring all activities use the principles of the Scrum Framework. The SAFe Scrum Master work assignments will vary and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action so this person will need to be comfortable with ambiguous tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Experience with the SDLC
Excellent communication skills & leadership competencies
Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment or good familiarity with the Agile methodologies
Experience in working in multi-team environment
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior automation or infrastructure experience within the IT realm
Technical documentation abilities
Advanced knowledge of Agile/SAFe/Scrum development methodology
Working knowledge of Agile Project Management Tools- ADO preferred
Scrum Master certification
Previous experience planning and managing large projects
Working experience with IT teams
Responsibilities:
Leads teams through work actions that can be completed within timeboxed iterations called sprints and tracks progress through 5-minute stand-up meetings.
Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
Follows established guidelines/procedures.
