Overview: We are seeking a skilled Web Developer & SEO Optimization Specialist to support our client's web needs. With a focus on front-end upkeep and lacking expertise in back-end development, we need a dedicated resource to address plug-in updates, overall maintenance, security risks, and adherence to industry standards. Additionally, the ideal candidate will assist in understanding and implementing AI-driven search engine optimization strategies to improve the site's performance and organic traffic.

Responsibilities:

• Review current website performance scores and assess mobile responsiveness.
• Identify and prioritize issues related to website optimization and SEO.
• Collaborate with the offshore IT agency while providing oversight to ensure project alignment.
• Optimize mobile performance, speed, and organic traffic through strategic updates and enhancements.
• Utilize UberFlip for content housing, particularly for blogs.
• Update and manage plug-ins, ensuring site security and recommending optimizations.
• Work closely with the client to understand their specific needs and goals.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to ensure transparency and alignment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in web development and optimization, with a focus on WordPress.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Experience in mobile optimization and improving site performance.
• Familiarity with AI-driven search engine optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Contract Details: The position will be project-based, with an initial duration of 2 months, though this timeframe is flexible based on project needs and availability.
