Our client is seeking 2nd Assistant Engineers to join the crew of their offshore wind installation vessel. Candidates must be US citizens and have experience on large vessels.
Job Description
Liaise with the Chief Engineer to ensure that engineering assistance is available to maintain critical systems onboard.
Report to the Chief Engineer on spare parts used.
Liaise with the Chief Engineer and other vessel crew to ensure that at all times maintenance works are coordinated under the instruction of the Chief Engineer.
Assist with the maintaining of essential services in the case of a vessel emergency.
Ensure that proper records and logs are kept as required by Seajacks internal procedures.
Ensure that all vessel equipment is in a condition complying with the applicable regulations.
Ensure that testing, effective maintenance, replacements to systems and components are carried out with reference to manufacturers approved operation and maintenance procedures.

Must hold valid USCG endorsement (unlimited)
