SECRETARY

Selected candidate will serve as Skilled Trades Timekeeper. Specific duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Perform timekeeping functions and manage NYCHA timecards; update Kronos daily; promptly prepare pay docks, pay suspensions and other forms.
  • Prepare and maintain Kronos reports such as lateness, absent and missing swipes.
  • Prepare Yearly and Monthly close-out Kronos timekeeping reports.
  • Assist with highly confidential items from all interoffice departments.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization?

Skills Requirement: You will be required to meet the typing skills requirement by demonstrating the ability to type accurately on a personal computer at a minimum speed of 35 words per minute after errors are deducted. You must meet this requirement in order to be appointed.

Preferred Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of NYCHAs Kronos automated timekeeping system and MAXIMO 2. Proficient in Microsoft Office - Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook. 3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 4. Excellent organizational skills detail oriented. 5. Ability to work as part of a team.
