Secretarial assistance and duties for Assistant Principals and building staff.
Duties: Assist with student attendance and maintain discipline records for 11th and 12th graders, filing, answering phones and greeting public/student walk-ins, assist new teachers with set-up in the fall, registrations, processing transcripts; assist with graduation and conference set-up throughout the school year. Collect unreturned chromebooks and books throughout the summer from students. Perform other general clerical duties and support as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; ability / desire to use computer for word processing, record keeping and information retrieval; good oral and written communication and organizational skills; accuracy and attention to detail; flexibility; ability / desire to work cooperatively with department, district staff and public; ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building.
Rate of pay: $18.95/hour. Insurance benefits available for assigned positions of 6 hours or more per day and 194 days per year.
