Security Officers – Remote Deployments - Alberta

Lions Gate Risk Management Group is seeking experienced, licensed Security Personnel in the Province of Alberta for remote deployments. Successful applicants will provide security services on a casual "as and when required" basis. The rate of pay is very competitive and is based on your level of knowledge, experience, skills, and abilities.

Duties May Include

• Working at check points or camps, with minimal guidance
• Recording visitors coming and going from check points
• Checking all vehicles entering restricted areas
• Checking passes that have been issued by the Regional District
• Assisting law enforcement at the check points
• Co-operating at scenes with other members and agencies
• Coaching new members when required
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Current Alberta Security license holder (Security Officer, Consultant or Investigator)
• Class 5 driver's license
• Must have 2 years of security service or related experience
• Law enforcement background (Police, military, sheriff, corrections) preferred
• Exceptional written (e.g. report writing) and spoken English communication skills
• Good physical fitness
  
  

Additional Information

• On-call, casual basis (There are no guaranteed hours, but you must be ready to work full-time if required.)
• 12 hour deployments (shifts times will vary)

• $30-35/hour based on experience and deployment
• Per Diem will be provided
