Senior Accountant ($85-95k)

Title: Senior Accountant

Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000 + Bonus

Location: Irving, Texas (In-Office)

We are partnering with a high-growth organization that has doubled in size in the last year. Through various acquisitions, they are now at a place to hire an additional Senior Accountant and are looking for someone who is searching for a short runway into management. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and we are targeting a base salary of $85-95k (depending upon experience) along with offering a bonus potential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the various preparing of financial statements including the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Income Statement
• Provide journal entries and account reconciliations as needed
• Provide mentorship and training to lower-level staff members
• Partner with upper-level Executives on ad-hoc projects and present findings as well as problem-solving solutions
• Provide information to internal and external auditors as needed
• Complete variance analysis and identify areas of improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other related field
• 5+ years' working experience within a full-cycle GL Accounting position
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA is highly preferred
• Ability to work in a primarily remote environment with little management
• Previous experience with a large ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite
