Senior Accountant - Accounts Receivables

Job Description

Reconciling

· Prepare/ review balance sheet reconciliations; research non traditional balances

· Reconcile all self-insurance activity to the incurred but not reported analysis (IBNR)

Data Processing

· Prepare accounting entries for health and risk self-insurance programs

· Post all area specific journal entries as prepared by 3rd party offshoring partner

· Ensure desktop procedures (DTP’s) are maintained by 3rd party offshoring partner.

Operational Support

· Approve entries related to the self-insurance program

· Forecasting the self-insurance programs

· Provide finance and site level support as required.

Control and Governance

· Ensure accounting controls and policies are being applied appropriately at all levels

· Meet published deadlines

· Understand the business and the impact of general ledger processes on other people

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, required

• 3-5 years work related experience, required
