Who you are:
The Senior Account is responsible for supporting accounting, forecasting, budgeting, revenue reconciliation and T&E management for the North America region. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong analytical and organizational skills with a remarkable ability to analyze and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
Accounting
Internal Financial Statement Preparation
Financial Audit Requests
Maintenance of chart of accounts
Adhoc Operating Cost Analysis
Liaising with Operating Depts to answer their requests
Prepaid Expenses and main accruals
Reallocating costs such as merchandise gift from COGS to Gifts accounts
Credit Card cost reconciliation
Post USA and Canada Payroll Journal Entries
Participate in process improvements (like Scanman, etc.)
Intercompany reconciliation for BC USA vs BC Canada
Control of costs allocation in T&E system (Concur)
Control accruals of T&E
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Accounting, retail environment preferred
Skilled in preparing financial statements
Outstanding abilities to manage time, daily tasks and daily general ledger postings
Proficient with MS Office suite and accounting software
Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP system is a plus
Ability to analyze problems, to compile data, in order to reach a logical conclusion based on facts
Ability to work in a growing and entrepreneurial team environment
A team player and ability to adjust to change with a positive attitude.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively to deliver timely and impactful results.
Thrive on working collaboratively with team members across the company.
Adaptable and comfortable with change.
