We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join an expanding healthcare company based in Jacksonville, FL. Qualified candidates will have extensive experience conducting and overseeing accounting processes, preferably with experience in healthcare, private equity, and/or M&A.
Job Duties
Serve as day to day lead for accounting functions
Monthly preparation and posting of complex and adjusting journal entries
Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation of ad-hoc reports as required
Assist and support budgeting team with their requests.
Assist and support annual audit.
Experience Required
3+ years of experience in accounting positions
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
Master's in Accounting and/or CPA is a plus
Knowledge of healthcare industry, private equity, and or M&A is preferred
