Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, accounts payable, billing, payroll, cash management, and local tax filings.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, cash forecasts, and other analyses for management review.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvements in accounting processes.
• Assist in the administration of the NetSuite ERP system to maintain and optimize month end close, financial reporting, billing, and other accounting activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting roles, with a mix of public accounting and corporate accounting experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software and ERP systems, Netsuite experience a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Experience working with startups or technology companies is a plus.
• Exposure to fixed assets, lease accounting, and/or revenue recognition preferred.
