  • The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform The Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to be a key member of the financial accounting organization, whose main purpose is to ensure the primary financial statements – income statement, balance sheet and cash flow – are accurately reflecting the results of the company and are published in a timely manner.

  • Takes a lead role in month / quarter / year-end closing processes to include maintaining and communicating closing schedules with reporting units.
  • Prepares multiple journal entries required for month / quarter / year-end closing. Also, responsible for directing the preparation of other journal entries by accounting department personnel and ensuring all required entries have been prepared, entered and posted.
  • Requires highly developed general accounting skills in corporate-level accounting and reporting activities.
  • Performs financial analysis of accounting data and transactions to identify significant fluctuations for review and accuracy.
  • Supports the annual financial audit process with external audit teams, and periodic support to bank auditing requests.
  • Prepares account reconciliations and reserve analysis as necessary.
  • Continuously identifies / implements work process improvements to streamline accounting methods and increase the productivity of the corporate accounting team and global reporting units.
  • Performs special projects and studies on accounting and control matters as requested.
  • All positions within the finance team have a clear, uncompromising responsibility to ensure internal controls and business policies are followed.


What We Need From You

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA desired
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing cost accounting environment
  • Strong experience and highly proficient in information technology and financial applications in integrated ERP system; Oracle Hyperion application; requires exceptional Excel knowledge
