Senior Accountant

PrideStaff Financial has partnered with a Frisco, Texas-based client to identify a dynamic Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.

Ideal candidates would possess 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience and aspire to pursue a long-term career path to leadership. Located in Frisco near The Star, this opportunity is conveniently located within minutes of dining, entertainment, and shopping!

Only one day a week onsite! Compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $90,000. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight of accounting transactions and implementation of pertinent accounting technical standards, specifically with the balance sheet
• Preparation of monthly consolidation reporting packages and collaboration with divisional accounting leaders to streamline month-end close processes
• Compilation of annual audit and quarterly review requests from external auditors
• Assistance with the preparation and review of board/investor reporting packages
• Support for monthly, quarterly, and annual fiscal closing procedures
• Production of financial information for ad hoc requests
• Contribution to business process improvement projects
• Completion of additional ad hoc projects as assigned

Position Requirements & Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Current knowledge of GAAP and SOX
• Comprehensive understanding of financial controls and reporting
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Proven success in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, results-driven organization
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint; experience with large ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is highly desirable.
