The SEH Finance team actively partners with operations and leadership to ensure the company is on track for success. This Opportunity

• Responsible for overall maintenance and reporting of fixed assets and leases. Create and upload related journal entries. Reconcile accounts monthly. Develop process improvements
• Research and develop options for tracking asset locations and usage. Implement agreed upon solutions. Maintain the process and propose adjustments as necessary.
• Prepare and file Personal Property Tax reports. Ensure payments are made. Improve tracking and related processes.
• Review each week’s check run prior to payment to ensure accuracy and compliance with protocols. Suggest process improvements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Maintain sales & use tax schedules.
• Work with fellow team members to resolve any issues that are discovered, and track until completion.
• Various journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Participate in annual external financial statement audit and other audits.
  
  

Essential Qualifications

• All offers of employment for this position are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check which meets company standards. This will be conducted post-offer acceptance.
• Bachelors Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
• Previous experience preparing account reconciliations and journal entries
• Previous experience assisting with Audits
• Exceptional attention to detail
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of previous accounting experience
• Knowledge of working at a company that has multiple subcompanies
• Working with Loans/Leases
• Experience with the following software: AEC360, Quickbooks, LeaseQuery
• Past experience going through an ERP implementation/transition
