Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant with experience in real estate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management on profitability, liquidity, and financial health.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor construction budgets and expenditures.
• Coordinate audits and tax filings with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support strategic financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Assist in special projects and initiatives as required.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong preference in real estate background.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with property management software and ERP systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
