Senior Assurance and Accounting Manager
As a Senior Assurance and Accounting Manager, you will collaborate with our assurance practice team to foster and maintain strong client relationships. Our practice specializes in delivering high-quality audits and comprehensive services to privately-owned middle-market companies, including internal audit, employee benefit plans, outsourced accounting, and contract compliance.
Responsibilities
Conduct audits of financial statements and related disclosures, ensuring timely and high-quality client service that exceeds expectations
Review and supervise staff work to uphold firm's quality control standards
Collaborate with Senior Managers and Partners on risk assessment, audit programs, and budgeting
Mentor and provide feedback to team members, fostering their professional development
Advise clients on economic and regulatory risks, resolving complex accounting issues
Apply GAAP principles to complex scenarios, preparing technical memos and serving as a resource to staff
Communicate engagement progress and escalate issues to Partners as needed
Lead training sessions and conferences to enhance team skills and knowledge
Stay informed on technical and regulatory developments relevant to the firm's practice
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
Several years of experience in public accounting or related field
Minimum Of 3 Years Supervisory And Training Experience
CPA certification required; MBA considered a plus
