Senior Auditor

Salary: $ 72,500.00

We have partnered with a large CPA firm in Deerfield, IL to provide them with a Senior Auditor. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills For The Senior Auditor

#1. Bachelors or Masters in Accounting.

#2. CPA Certification and Active license or actively working to obtain.

#3. Experience conducting non-profit audits.

Requirements Of The Senior Auditor

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification and active license (or actively working to obtain certification) preferred.
• 3+ years audit experience in a public accounting firm
• Experience conducting nonprofit audits. Experience conducting ERISA audits and single audits a plus.
• Understanding of Form 990 and related tax returns preferred.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP, generally accepted auditing standards, internal controls and complex audit procedures and techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, QuickBooks, ProSystem FX Tax, Engagement and GoFileRoom software (or equivalent software).
• Strong project management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, technical and research skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing client and business dynamics with recommended solutions.
• Committed to seeing engagements through to completion.

• 100% in office (Potential for hybrid after 90 days)
• MUST BE LOCAL!
