About The Role

As a Senior Brand Designer focused on motion design and animation, you will play a critical role in bringing our brand’s story to life. You will create narrative-driven content, engaging product demos, and impactful animations that enhance our marketing efforts across various touch points - from campaigns to events to our website. Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to establish and define motion design principles that will set the foundation for our brand’s visual identity.

This fully remote role reports to Jasper’s Creative Director and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.

What You Will Do At Jasper

• Motion Design & Animation: Create compelling motion graphics and animations for marketing campaigns, social media, digital products, events, and other brand initiatives, ensuring all work aligns with our brand identity and vision.
• Brand Evolution: Define and lead the creative development and evolution of our brand’s visual identity through dynamic motion design, ensuring consistency and innovation across all animated content.
• Creative Storytelling: Use motion design and animation to tell engaging stories that resonate with our audience and enhance the overall brand experience.
• Content Creation: Develop and produce high-quality animated content, including promotional videos, explainer animations, and social media assets that drive engagement and communicate key messages.
• Team-Building & Process: Influence the direction and building of a fast-scaling design organization. This would include helping to define processes, best practices, and ways of working with our team and others across the organization.
• Communication: Communicate clearly and crisply with leadership stakeholders, driving alignment across multiple teams and organizations through some formal processes and some scrappy ways.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across the company – including product design, marketing, growth, and beyond — to concept and produce design deliverables and campaigns that creatively solve business challenges.

• You excel as a brand designer, with a deep understanding of design principles and a sharp eye for detail. Additionally, your expertise extends to motion design, seamlessly blending brand design skills to craft engaging animated stories.
• An interest in helping infuse motion design and guidelines into the product experience, with prior experience collaborating with design systems designers.
• You possess a creative mind that thrives on generating innovative and unique solutions, coupled with the ability to bring them to life in memorable ways.
• You are a strong writer and communicator. You share your reasoning and outcomes with a strategy-first mentality.
• You are known for listening, building trust, and collaborating with teams throughout the company. Stakeholders you work with sing your praises on always feeling in the know. The ones you've worked with would be sad to lose you.
• Have strong craft sensibilities, current design tastes, and the ability to make decisions intelligently and quickly. In a fast-paced environment, you understand the importance of when to unblock quickly, and when to dig in and understand something more thoroughly.
• Are passionate (or interested in becoming passionate) in building artificial intelligence and using machine learning for all kinds of people.
• You have experience contributing to and/or evolving an existing brand and its many outputs.
  
  

Compensation Range

At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range offered for this role is $159,000 - $187,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
