Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Sr. Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of brand strategies that will drive growth and strengthen our market position. This role requires a blend of creative vision, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. You will be responsible for overseeing brand communication, consumer insights, product innovation, and packaging updates, while managing cross-functional teams and agency partnerships to ensure that Zena Nutrition stands out in the competitive supplement market.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Management: Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company’s vision and objectives. Ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints.
- Consumer & Shopper Insights: Lead consumer, shopper, and competitive research initiatives, leveraging both internal resources and external agencies for large-scale projects. Utilize insights to inform strategic decisions and brand messaging.
- Communication & Messaging: Oversee the development of brand messaging and communication strategies, including creative execution for TV, digital, and non-social media. Work closely with external agencies to manage large campaigns.
- Creative Development: Collaborate with creative teams and agencies to produce high-impact, non-social media campaigns that resonate with target audiences and reinforce brand positioning.
- Commercial Project Management: Lead and manage key commercial projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Public Relations & Sponsorships: Develop and manage PR strategies and sponsorships that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Retail Activation: Drive retail activation strategies, including shopper marketing, media planning, and promotional strategies to increase brand presence and sales at retail locations.
- Innovation Management: Spearhead the development of new products and extensions, collaborating with R&D, innovation teams, and packaging designers to bring innovative products to market.
- Packaging Updates: Oversee packaging projects and updates, ensuring alignment with brand identity and consumer preferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in brand management, with a strong track record in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, preferably within the health and wellness or supplement sectors.
- Proven experience in managing and executing brand strategies, with a focus on consumer insights, product innovation, and retail activation.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external agency partnerships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, capable of developing innovative solutions that drive brand growth.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for health and wellness.
