Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst plays an integral part in LendKey’s efforts to provide exceptional technology. This role serves as the eyes and ears of our technology organization including product, product operations and engineering and will help drive improvements that impact our customers and our technology teams. To succeed in this role, you must leverage quantitative and qualitative information to analyze and identify opportunities to improve all areas of our platforms. This role requires high-level communications skills, a strong sense of urgency, and focus on how their analyses will impact the business.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Leverage data sources, reporting tools and LendKey internal data to monitor and report on product, platform and technology metrics
• Turn numbers and data into clear, concise recommendations to help management make data driven decisions
• Manage the product backlog and prioritize work based on changing requirements
• Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints
• Analyze, map, and identify business processes and improvements. Become a subject matter expert, partnering with customers, to help steer product and process improvements
• Be responsible for conducting regular audits on the product
• Translate bug fixes into feature requirements
• Understand customer needs and write requirements for engineers to update our technology systems
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal and external partners to align with business strategy to deliver business value
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and product team
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the team’s product(s) & output

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Economics, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Finance) or high school diploma with equivalent experience required
• 4-7 years of related experience
• Experience working in financial services required, experience working in consumer lending a plus
• Basic understanding of loan amortization
• Demonstrated experience tabulating data, building reports, creating insights, providing solutions, and exposing possible areas of opportunity
• Experience eliciting and writing requirements
• Experience with agile
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
• SQL experience required with ability to run queries and join related tables
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize

The full-time base salary range for this role in the United States is between $90,000 - $120,000 + bonus and / or commissions + equity + benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as market job location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as evaluated throughout the interview process.
