Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Remote (EST or CST)

Salary: $70k-$80k (+ Commission Structure)


We’re seeking a Senior Business Development Manager who is not just a deal-maker, but a strategic visionary. In this role, you will spearhead our growth initiatives, forge high-value partnerships, and drive our business expansion in the influencer marketing space. You’ll be at the forefront of identifying new opportunities, building lasting relationships, and positioning our agency as the go-to partner for brands looking to make waves. You’ll own the proposal making process, so organization and stakeholder management are key.

We’re the only truly scaled up influencer solution for large enterprises and iconic brands. You will have heard of or purchased products from most of the brands we work with. Now, we lead influencer marketing within GroupM, the media arm of the world’s largest marketing conglomerate: WPP.


In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Seek and develop new business opportunities, emphasizing influencer partnerships and social media marketing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop and refine sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that showcase our capabilities in influencer and social media marketing.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with big brands, other GroupM agencies, and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a high-performing business development team.


Qualifications:

  • 3-4 Years experience in a previous sales role (Essential)
  • High organizational skills with ability to prioritize a diverse workload and to keep track of deadlines (Essential)
  • Knowledge of Hubspot, Microsoft: Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and Google platforms (Essential)
  • Experience in the marketing industry (Essential)
