ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks a highly qualified candidate to serve as Senior Clinical Specialist (Associate Research Scientist) based in New York. The Associate Research Scientist (Senior Clinical Specialist, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health) is responsible for the technical planning and implementation of an international technical assistance (TA) program, with a focus on maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (MNCAH), family planning (FP), sexual reproductive health (SRH) and prevention of vertical transmission of HIV. Builds and strengthens strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, global partners, donors, and national stakeholders through active networking to shape the global agenda for the health and well-being of women and children and the prevention of vertical transmission of HIV. Serves as site principal investigator for domestic HIV prevention clinical trials.

This position is contingent upon funding availability.
The incumbent will have an MD, DO, or professional equivalent, NY State medical license, and a minimum of five (5) years of experience developing public health programs and providing technical support related to maternal and child health in resource-limited settings.
