Key Responsibilities
Develop a Cloud Native platform utilizing public cloud infrastructure.
Enhance the metrics pipeline and create algorithms for improved auto-scaling statistics and recommendations.
Work with autoscaling and Kubernetes operators to facilitate both vertical and horizontal scaling.
Collaborate with the core ClickHouse development team and other data plane teams to support auto-scaling use cases and internal infrastructure enhancements.
Design and build a robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with statistical models and time-series forecasting using large datasets.
Proficient in languages such as Go, C/C++, Java, or similar.
Experience with SQL, Python (including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn), or R.
Familiar with data storage, ingestion, and transformation tools, such as Spark or Kafka.
Experience developing cloud infrastructure services, particularly with Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for addressing data challenges at scale.
Expertise with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure services (e.g., EC2).
Proven ownership in the design and operation of high-scale, distributed systems throughout the software lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
Solid production debugging skills.
