Senior Contracts Manager

Savantage Solutions is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join our team. The Senior Contracts Manager position collaborates with proposal and project teams when developing and managing contract solutions (typically FFP, FPLOE, T&M, or LH) in response to governmental, federal prime, and commercial clients' time-sensitive needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop prime and subcontract proposals compliant with DoD/Federal Agency requirements.
• Utilize contracting methods for all phases of the proposal process, from proposal strategy through negotiations to award execution.
• Develop simple to highly detailed contract documentation to meet the government, Prime or commercial client's requirements and ensure that contracts are audit-ready and compliant in accordance with company policies, government oversight, and the requirements of the contract.
• Ensure that proposals and all deliverables (CDRLs) are submitted in accordance with company policies and government requirements.
• Support internal and external contract audits, as required by the company, government, and/or prime contractors.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and industry partners.
• Maintain contract-related documents and correspondence.
• Present contract information to relevant parties and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoots contract-related problems and provide guidance to senior management.
• Stays abreast about changes to relevant rules and regulations related to contracting to include FAR/DFAR.
• Support and maintain GSA Schedule including review of mass modifications, price increases/decreases, and new offers.
• Review billing and collections to ensure compliance with contractual terms and available funds.
  
  

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

The successful candidate will have:

• At least eight years of experience administering Government contracts & subcontracts exceeding $5 million in total value.
• Four years of military contracts training and experience.
• A high degree of emotional intelligence, being committed to building and maintaining strong, positive relationships.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs).
• The ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once, adhering to deadlines.
• The ability to invent, simplify, and improve contracting processes.
  
  

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, or related discipline.
• CPCM certification or CFCM certification, preferred
