Senior Director, Facilities Management

Leadership And Strategic Planning

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to achieve property goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to enhance the service levels.
  • Collaborate with client and senior management to define the vision, and strategic goals.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all areas ensuring smooth functioning and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to optimize performance and ensure health & safety of team members and 3rd party partners.
  • Monitor property performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Financial Management

  • Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control measures to achieve financial targets.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accurate financial records.

Team Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing team by hiring, training, mentoring, and motivating employees.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage professional development.
  • Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback.

Tenant Management

  • Ensure tenants are adhering and compliant to their lease terms and the building rules and regulations
  • Establish and manage regular and ad-hoc communication with tenants
  • Coordinate and deliver on all building events and programming

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with the client, tenants, service providers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent the property in industry events, conferences, and community development activities.

Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that may impact the property's success.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies to protect the property's interests.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar senior management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent strategic planning and business acumen.
  • Solid understanding of operational processes, financial management, and risk assessment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
