Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all e-commerce fulfillment centers. Implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fulfillment centers, including inventory management, order processing, shipping, and returns.
Lead a team of General Managers, Operations Managers and Supervisors to drive performance fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, Facilities, and IT to enhance operational efficiency that support business operations and growth objectives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety guidelines.
Develop, direct, and manage operational budgets to optimize costs and maximize profitability and capabilities.
Leverage external networks and contacts to maintain expertise in industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
Knowledge Skills And ABILITIES
Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple fulfillment centers is preferred.
Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving measurable results in a high-volume e-commerce environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to drive employee engagement.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage partners and external vendors who have major delivery responsibilities for projects and operations.
Proven ability to lead change and influence others to drive change management.
Experience working with e-commerce platforms and fulfillment systems is a plus.
Other Requirements
Ability to travel up to 25% for fulfillment center site visits.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move around the fulfillment center as needed.
Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons if needed.
