Senior Director Health & Safety

Reporting to the Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), the Senior Director of Safety is responsible for generating, driving, and implementing EHS strategies to create a world class safety program. You will align Health and Safety goals to corporate strategies and will collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement those strategies.

Responsibilities

• Improve and lead the health and safety management system, and safety programs to ensure compliance while driving towards building world-class health and safety culture
• Develop policies and practical strategies for plant implementation and guidance
• Guide data analytics and priority setting to build risk free manufacturing and corporate environments
• Partner with operations senior leadership to build governance model
• Build strategies to create manufacturing capabilities for risk identification and standardized elimination through the network
• Foster EHS culture towards evolving to Interdependent behaviors at manufacturing plants
• Benchmark results within internal and external organizations
• People developer and coach to improve team capabilities and skills and lead talent management within corporate and manufacturing sites
• Align network projects as technical H&S expert
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field
• Professional certification health and safety
• 12+ years of progressive health and safety experience, including at least five (5) years of corporate level experience of a company with multiple locations
• Advance knowledge of existing OSHA, laws
