About The Role

As Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic people agenda and supporting the overall commercial business objectives of the company. Reporting to the Executive Director, Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will play a key role in delivering on the people and organizational strategy in partnership with our Commercial organization. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting an expanding US Commercial organization within biotech.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize HR data and analytics to generate insights and make data-driven recommendations. Prepare and present reports on HR metrics, workforce trends, and other relevant data to support business decision-making
  • Partners with Sr. Leaders to build and modify organizational design to effectively support the new Commercial BU model; Designs efficient and effective organizations
  • Drive HR strategy and execution across the commercial organization. Ensure alignment between business imperatives and the HR agenda. Partner with senior leaders to determine effective HR solutions to facilitate organizational growth and effectiveness
  • Drive work related to expansion of US sales organization including defining our territory strategy, enhancing compensation plans, and building on our approach to performance assessments
  • Support managers in effectively managing employee performance by providing guidance on performance improvement plans, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms. Collaborate on performance evaluations, promotions, and talent development initiatives
  • Partner with the HR team to develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry standards while attracting and retaining top talent
  • Lead enterprise-wide HR initiatives (examples may include succession planning, performance management process, learning & development initiatives)
  • Run annual HR processes across designated client groups (i.e. compensation planning, performance management, talent review, workforce planning etc.)
  • Partners with HR Team to obtain the necessary data and insights to develop and deliver a rewards and recognition strategy aligned with business needs and HR strategy; bring insight from data analyses to support the business in making rewards decisions

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required - MBA or Master's equivalent preferred
  • Licenses/ Certifications: HR certification for senior professional preferred (i.e. SPHR or CIPD)
  • 8 years HR data and analytics experience required
  • Experience working with Commercial teams required
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively create and drive HR initiatives and strategies aligned to commercial objectives
  • Experience supporting sales and marketing organizations including deep understanding of sales incentive compensation, performance strategies, and sales culture
  • Proven ability to transition seamlessly from strategic planning to successful execution and delivery on HR initiatives
  • Work experience within a global organization and directly supporting commercial global, multi region/country teams and Sr. Leaders is required. Work experience partnering with a variety of global functions is required
