Our client, a retail conglomerate is seeking a Senior HR Director to join their growing team!
Position Title: Senior HR Director
Location: Onsite in Buena Park, five days a week
Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000
Language Skills: Mandarin is highly desirable but not mandatory
Preferred Experience: Background in offline retail or grocery industry
Position Overview: Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Senior HR Director will lead and manage the company's human resources functions. This role is pivotal in promoting a positive organizational culture, enhancing employee engagement, managing labor relations, and optimizing workforce planning to support the company's growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Organizational Development: Drive initiatives to cultivate a positive organizational culture aligned with the company’s values, enhancing teamwork, collaboration, and employee morale.
Change Management: Provide guidance and support during organizational changes to ensure smooth transitions and maintain employee commitment.
Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to measure and improve employee engagement, including surveys, focus groups, and feedback mechanisms.
Labor Headcount Management: Strategize workforce planning to ensure staffing aligns with business needs and retail industry demands, using data analysis to determine optimal staffing levels.
Labor Analytics: Utilize workforce analytics to monitor staffing levels, turnover rates, absenteeism, and labor productivity. Generate insights to inform decision-making and strategic workforce planning.
Building Company Culture: Lead initiatives to build and sustain a company culture that reflects organizational values, mission, and brand identity. Promote diversity, inclusion, and equity to create a supportive workplace.
HR Technology: Evaluate and implement HR technology solutions to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the employee experience.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external stakeholders to support workforce development, promote employer branding, and address industry-specific HR challenges.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5-10+ years in human resources, preferably in the retail industry.
Leadership and Communication: Proven leadership and management skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Multitasking and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
