Overview

The Senior Director, HR Business Partner: will align with our Chief Medical Office (CMO) as a consultative partner and trusted advisor to multiple lines of business on human resource strategy issues. This role will lead a team of HR Business Partners, and partner with HR centers of expertise across various disciplines to support the strategic development and execution of talent related priorities and desired business outcomes. Works closely with HR centers of expertise to create value by understanding the business and implementing world-class people strategies and solutions that deliver on objectives, including shared responsibility for goal achievement. The role exists to understand and support the business with tailored strategies that foster a culture of inclusion and belonging. This role also focuses on team member engagement, retention, organizational structure, change management, strategic workforce planning, and succession planning. This role requires the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment and develop a cohesive team demonstrating visible momentum for all activities. Acts as a change agent, anticipating human capital related needs, seeking to develop integrated solutions, and formulating partnerships across the business to deliver value-added service.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. Graduate Degree, preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of ten years of human resources or related experience, required.
    • Five years experience in people leadership/management in a highly matrixed environment, preferred.
    • Five years experience with executive level consultation across multiple human capital domains to include organizational design and optimization, team member engagement, retention strategies, and performance management, required.
    • Three years experience in managing and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives. Experience in providing consultative services, required.
    • Five years in health care or related field experience. Merger and Acquisition experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: PHR or SPHR or other Human Resource Certification, preferred.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    • BUSINESS ACUMEN – Understands the business strategy and how success is measured.
    • LEADERSHIP – Leader who exemplifies the strategic, consultative HR model. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong stakeholder management who is highly driven for results, analytical, detail oriented and adept at working with data and metrics.
    • COMMUNICATION – Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and ability to draft clear, concise communications and documents. Expresses information (ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, considering the audience and nature of the information (technical, sensitive, confidential). Listens to others and their nonverbal cues and responds appropriately.
    • ADAPTABILITY – Maintains change readiness, resilience, and flexibility to meet evolving business needs. Adaptability includes successfully navigating volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous scenarios.
    • Problem Solving: Strong analytical, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
    • Inclusion and Belonging: Fosters a work environment of inclusion and belonging for all team members.
    • Confidentiality: Respects confidential information.
    • Digital Fluency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint. Excel – comfort with data analysis to include v-lookups, filtering, sorting and pivot table.
  • Additional Skills (preferred): Bilingual in Spanish/ English.
