Position Summary:
Crinetics is seeking a Senior Director of Medical Affairs Operations to play a key role in the effective functioning, as well as driving, strategic and operational success of the Medical Affairs organization. The individual will serve as a key business partner and trusted advisor to the SVP of Medical Affairs and Leadership Team and will be immersed in the establishment of a best-in-class organization, serving as a central figure in driving strategy deployment around vision, goals, roadmap, and other relevant deliverables across Medical Affairs. This individual will act as a critical integration point within Medical Affairs as well as partner organizations and will be responsible for the operational aspects of the Medical Affairs department.

Required:
- Advance degree (MBA) preferred.
- Minimum 10-13 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience.
- Prior Medical Affairs Operations experience.
- Direct leadership experience required as well as leading in a Matrix environment.
- Collaborative, with the ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, gaining trust and confidence from all levels within the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience preparing and delivering presentations to senior and executive management levels.
- Endocrinology related experience or work with endocrine-related assets.
Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. Travel:
You may be required to travel for up to 5% of your time.
The Anticipated Base Salary Range: $240,000 - $290,000
In addition to your base pay, our total rewards program consists of a discretionary annual target bonus, stock options, ESPP, and 401k match. We also provide top-notch health insurance plans for employees (and their families) to include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance, 20 days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, and a winter company shutdown.
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education. Crinetics Pharmaceuticals is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
