Key Responsibilities
Prepare and complete monthly journal entries for assigned brands to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
Submit precise account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
Analyze month-end results, comparing them with previous years, budgets, or forecasts, and provide explanations for any significant variances.
Research and interpret data to address accounting and financial inquiries.
Collaborate with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
Undertake additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; a Master's degree and CPA license are preferred.
3-5 years of accounting experience is necessary.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) is required; experience with SAP is preferred.
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing business needs.
Proactive approach in suggesting quality ideas for process improvements.
